Recognizing September 2024 as National Preparedness Month in Guadalupe County.
5. PRESENTATION:
By a Texas Association of Counties representative to present Guadalupe County as the winner of the "County Best Practices Award" for the Guadalupe County Citizens Election Academy.
6. DISCUSSION:
A. 365Labs Computer Aided Dispatch and Report Management System (CAD/RMS) project update.
B. Representatives with the City of San Marcos are requesting that a concrete bus stop with a structure be placed in the County Right-of-Way near Redwood at the intersection of County Road 245 and Poplar Street.
7. CONSENT ITEMS: The following may be acted upon in one motion. A Commissioner, the County Judge, or a Citizen may request items to be pulled for separate discussion and/or action:
A. Budget Amendments.
B. The Bill Lists.
C. The EBA List.
D. The Official Rider (Bond No. 65527519) and Statement of Appointed Officer for Julian Olvera, Part-Time Deputy Constable, Precinct 1.
E. The contract for services for Veterans Treatment Court participants, funded by the Fund for Veterans' Assistance grant award (VTC24-V-030) from the Texas Veterans Commission for the 2024-2025 Guadalupe County Veterans Treatment Court Program with 1A Smart Start LLC, Ignition Interlock Breath Alcohol Monitoring Systems to provide monitoring services and equipment.
8. ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and possible motion relative to:
A. The Interlocal Agreement between Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, Guadalupe County, and the City of Seguin for Indigent Healthcare for 2024-2025.
B. Resolution to Approve an Increase in Pay for Temporary Election Workers.
C. The Space Allocation Request Form for the Texas Division Emergency Management County (TDEM) County Liaison Office.
D. The Space Allocation Request Form from the Marion Volunteer Fire Department to use the garage or covered parking at the County-owned building in Marion.
E. The Contract Amendment with Freeland Turk Engineering Group, LLC for the improvements funded by TxDOT's County Transportation Infrastructure Fund (CTIF) grant.
F. The contract with DeMunbrun Scarnato Associates, Inc. for the Juvenile Services renovation project.
G. Review the scoring for RFQ 24-19, Consultant Services for the Revision of the Guadalupe County Subdivision Regulations, and authorize Purchasing to negotiate a contract with the first-ranked vendor.
H. The proposal from Sullivan Contracting Services for the Jail Lobby Renovation.
I. The preliminary and final plat of Wahl Farm, establishing 71 lots, Precinct 2.
J. The Maintenance Bond No. 602-206477-2, in the amount of $94,325.00, for Wahl Farm Subdivision on FM 3353, located in Precinct 2.
